Summary
These instructions describe how to upgrade Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA) Foundation Pack 2.2.0.0.0 for Microsoft Windows (32-bit) to 2.2.1.

The software can be downloaded from http://edelivery.oracle.com.

Prerequisites
The following software has been downloaded:
    SoftwareFilenameSize
    Oracle Application Integration Architecture Foundation Pack 2.2.1.0.0 Windows (32-bit)V13951-01.zip671,209,215 bytes
The following software has been installed:
  • Oracle Database 10g (10.2.0.1) and upgraded to (10.2.0.3).
  • Oracle SOA Suite 10g (10.1.3.1), upgraded to (10.1.3.3), then upgraded to (10.1.3.4).
  • Oracle Application Integration Architecture Foundation Pack 2 (2.2.0).
The following file exists in c:\AIA\2.2.1 for the purpose of installation:
  • V13951-01.zip
Details
1. If you have custom EBOs, custom XSLTs, or custom EBS WSDLs, they will have to be backed up. Refer to the documentation in this case.

2. Backup the AIAConfigurationProperties.xml file located in the %AIA_HOME%\config folder.

3. Shutdown SOA Suite 

set ORACLE_HOME=e:\oracle\product\10.1.3\soa_1
set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\bin;%ORACLE_HOME%\opmn\bin;%PATH%
opmnctl stopall

4. Run the installer 

unzip V13951-01.zip
cd Disk1\install
setup.exe

a. Click Next
b. Choose Application Integration Architecture Foundation pack PatchSet 2.2.1.0.0
c. Click Next
d. Provide the directory where AIA Foundation Pack 2.1 or 2.2 was installed (e.g., E:\oracle\product\2.2.0\AIAFP2)
e. Click Next
f. Click Install
g. Click Exit
h. Click Yes

5. Restore the backed up AIAConfigurationProperties.xml to %AIA_HOME%\config.

6. If you have custom EBOs, custom XSLTs, or custom EBS WSDLs, they will have to be restored. Refer to the documentation in this case.

7. Reinstall the demo to take advantage of the new demo features (optional).
